We ordered lobster mac and cheese which was every mouthful as good as it sounds, and a half lobster stuffed with crab…lobster heaven. I followed up with a couple of dishes that I shared with Julie of 3ChickensAndABoat. I ordered a cup of clam chowder to start and as I practically licked the bowl clean using a slice of their in house made sour dough bread that was still hot from the oven, as proof it was hands down the best clam chowder I’ve ever had. While, yes, the service was impeccable and yes, the decor was lovely and clean, the Fog Harbor is all about the view out the window and the view on your plate. It’s situated right on the harbor with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge on one side and Alcatraz on the other. This place doesn’t have a bad seat in the house. ![]() The 4 of us met up with Melissa from Family Fun Canada for dinner at the Fog Harbor Fish House. The pier is a tourist hot spot with views of the bay, shops, vendors, buskers, street art and of course food. ![]() ![]() We wandered down to the famous Pier 39 at Fisherman’s Wharf for some more shopping. There are restaurants everywhere and it can be extremely hard to pick.
